6 to 8 medium sized baking apples, cored
2 tablespoons raisins
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup water
Remove top inch of peel from each apple.
Mix together raisins and sugar. Spoon into center of apples.
Sprinkle with additional sugar and dot with butter.
Place apples in slow cooker. Add water.
Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 9 hours, or on HIGH 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours.
