Cheese and Beef Dip

1 pound lean ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 (16 ounce) packages of cubed Velveeta cheese
2 (10 ounce) cans chopped tomatoes and green chilies
1 teaspoon minced garlic

In skillet, cook beef on low heat for 10 minutes. Transfer to 4-quart slow cooker.

Add onion, cheese tomatoes and green chilies and garlic. Stir well.

Cover and cook on LOW for 1 hour. Stir to mix well.

Serve with tortilla chips.

Serves 6 to 8.
