1 pound pinto beans
5 cups water
2 ounce salt pork
In crockpot combine all ingredients and stir.
Cook on LOW 10-12 hours. The longer they cook, the better they are. Check water after 4-6 hours and add 1 to 2 cups as needed. This is great served with cornbread.
