Garden Tomato Soup

2 pounds roma tomatoes, chopped
2 (14 ounce) cans beef broth
2 cups finely chopped vegetables (carrot, celery, sweet pepper, onion)
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 to 2 teaspoons sugar

In a 3 1/2 or 4-quart slow cooker combine tomatoes, beef broth, vegetables, tomato paste and sugar.

Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.

Makes 8 to 10 servings.
