3 (15 ounce) cans sweet potatoes, drained
1/2 (20 ounce) can pineapple pie filling
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Place sweet potatoes, pie filling, melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon in 4 to 5 quart slow cooker and stir lightly.
Cover and cook on LOW for 2 to 3 hours.
Serves 6 to 8.
1 cup packed light brown sugar
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup flour
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts
While potatoes cook, combine topping ingredients, spread out on foil-lines baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
When ready to serve, sprinkle topping over sweet potatoes.
