Homemade Barbecue Pork

Print This Post Post a Comment 1 (3 to 4 pounds) boneless pork shoulder roast
1 bottle (16 ounces) barbecue sauce
Salt and pepper
Water
Hamburger buns
Cover bottom of slow cooker with water. Place roast in slow cooker and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours.
Remove roast from slow cooker and let stand 15 minutes. Discard liquid remaining in slow cooker. Shred meat with 2 forks. Return meat to slow cooker. Add barbecue sauce and mix well. Cover and cook on HIGH 30 minutes.
Serve barbecue mixture on buns.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
