Italian Roast Beef

4 pound beef rump roast
flour
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
1 large rib celery
2 ounce salt pork, or bacon
1 onion, sliced

Lightly flour roast.

In blender, grind onion, garlic, celery and salt pork together. Rub ground mixture into roast.

Place sliced onion in slow cooker. Place roast on top on onion.

Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
