Macaroni & Cheese with Hamburger

1 pound lean hamburger
4 cups elbow macaroni
2 cups whole milk
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoons paprika

Brown the hamburger in a skillet on the stove. Drain off the fat and rinse with cold water to remove even more fat. Cook the macaroni in boiling water until soft. Combine the milk, Cheddar cheese, dry mustard, garlic salt, and black pepper in the crockpot.

Cook uncovered on high setting until the cheese has melted completely. Add the cooked macaroni and hamburger; stir well.

Cook uncovered on low setting for 3 hours.
