Slow Cooker Shredded Beef Tacos Recipe
1 1/2 pounds beef chuck roast
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 cup water
1 (1.25-ounce) package Taco Seasoning Mix
1 (16-ounce) jar Medium Taco Sauce
1 (7-ounce) can Diced Green Chiles
1 (12-count) package Taco Shells
Place beef chuck roast and onion in slow cooker.
Mix water and seasoning in small bowl. Pour over roast and onion.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours.
Remove meat to cutting board and shred beef with two forks.
Add back to slow cooker. Pour taco sauce and green chiles over shredded roast.
Cover and cook for 15 minutes on LOW.
Serve in taco shells with favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, cheese, black olives and sour cream.
